Play Yahtzee Online With Friends
Your friend is on their phone across town. You're on your laptop. Thirty seconds from now you can be rolling against each other in real time, free, with no downloads and no accounts.
Create a room nowHow it works
- Tap Online on the Jatzee home screen, or use the button above.
- Enter your name and tap Create Room. You get a 4-letter room code.
- Send it. Copy the code, or tap Send Invite Link to text it straight to your friend.
- Roll. They open the link or type the code, and the game starts. You both see every roll live.
Real online play, not pass-and-play
A lot of "multiplayer" Yahtzee games online are really pass-and-play: everyone crowds around one screen and takes turns. That's fine on a couch. It's useless when your friend is somewhere else.
Jatzee is actually online. Each of you plays on your own device, on any phone, tablet, or computer with a browser, and the dice, scores, and turns sync in real time.
- Live scoreboard so you always know how far behind you are
- Emoji reactions for when they roll a Jatzee on the last turn
- Instant rematch when the game ends
- Auto-reconnect if someone's connection drops for a moment
More ways to play with friends
Daily Challenge
Everyone in the world gets the same dice each day. Play the daily, share your score, and see who made better decisions with identical rolls. It works even if your friends play at different times.
Challenge a friend to beat your score
Finish any solo game and tap Challenge a Friend. They get a link with your score to beat.
Nobody online? Warm up on the bot
The Vs Bot mode uses optimal strategy and plenty of trash talk. Practice there before you take on your friends.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No download, no signup, no account. Just open the site and play.
How many people can play?
Online rooms are head to head, one on one. For bigger groups, have everyone play the Daily Challenge and compare scores, or use the printable score sheet with real dice.
Do we need the same kind of phone?
No. iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac, Chromebook: anything with a modern browser works, in any combination.
Do both players need to know the rules?
The game scores everything for you, but if anyone wants a refresher, the Yahtzee rules take two minutes to read.
